Setting your intention for the day...
We've all had it happen...
The day starts out great and our schedule is full of wonderful humans we have the privilege of serving. And then...
...something happens and it starts to unravel.
We start running late, patients are rescheduling, one of your kids gets sick, and someone backed into your car in the parking lot.
Oi vey! 🤦
Before long, we're waaaaaay down the sympathetic rabbit hole before we even realize it. And yet we still have to put on a smile and take care of the people we are called to serve.
These are the precise moments when we have to dig deep and find a way to refocus, reframe, and recenter ourselves in order to WIN at the end of the day, instead of feeling completely overwhelmed and exhausted.
Here's what I do to make sure I'm well equipped and ready to learn as much as I can from whatever the day brings.
This tactic goes far beyond positive thinking. Instead, by framing it this way, your brain is looking for opportunities to solve the problem and turn a 'wrong' into a right.
As we learn how to harness the power of our brain to change the way life happens around us, nothing is impossible! 😊
